COMMUNITY INSTRUCTION SKILLS
For transition aged students, 16 to 21, IDEA requires that they be taught
community living skills.
Safety comes first when one is teaching community-based skills. Having
students being able to identify emergency signs is an important skill that also
relates to experiencing a safer setting in the community.
This quiz can form a baseline of students' recognition of some of the
important emergency signs they will encounter in the community.
